Most jobs require 2-5 years’ worth of solid experience in the field, and I will need on-the-job training. My paralegal certificate courses teach theory, and not practical experience.

I’m thinking about taking a one-year paralegal course to obtain a paralegal certificate, but I was wondering if it’s worth it? For example the CNA course is only 6-9 months or something like that but once you graduate and get a job, you only get paid like .00 an hour!

Both BU and Salem State offer continuing education and evening courses for non students. I’m interested in getting licensed as a paralegal, and they both specifically offer a paralegal course. Do you think it matters greatly what one I choose?
I know the Salem State course is much less expensive but I was wondering if (beside a better education) which one is more likely help secure an actual job.
If anyone has any idea please let me know. Thank you.

I am currently attending courses in college, but need to earn money while in school. They offer a 6month online paralegal course. After the course you can sit for the lama certification. Has anyone done this? How difficult was it to get a job afterwords?

I’m thinking about taking them online at www.legalstudies.com.
Do you think they’re worth it? And will I be able to get a job? At my school they offer live lectures, online and a couple others. Which do you think would be best.
Is anyone actually a paralegal?
I want to go to law school and become an attorney then maybe a judge. I had an internship at the Public Defenders office and I loved it.
Thanks
