Should I go to Boston University for Paralegal course or Salem State?
Both BU and Salem State offer continuing education and evening courses for non students. I’m interested in getting licensed as a paralegal, and they both specifically offer a paralegal course. Do you think it matters greatly what one I choose?
I know the Salem State course is much less expensive but I was wondering if (beside a better education) which one is more likely help secure an actual job.
If anyone has any idea please let me know. Thank you.

Are both programs ABA approved? If not, then you need to choose the one that is ABA approved. That’s going to make or break your ability to get a job in this field when you graduate.
BU has a highly ranked law school, so my personal preference is that you go there for your paralegal certificate. But ask both BU and Salem State what percentage of their grads from this program get a job as a paralegal within 6 months of graduation. They track this info, and it’s a completely reasonable question to ask.
